Jennifer Ellison is another actress who’s had some trouble with weight management. Finally, the 38-year old actress decided to give the Cambridge diet, where one would follow a strict diet plan that would limit the number of calories consumed to just 800 per day, a shot. Lucky for her, it worked!

She’s also lost 27 inches of waist size, and says she feels fabulous but still has a long way to go in achieving her ideal weight.
ANTHONY ANDERSON – 47 POUNDS
Popular actor, comedian, writer and game show host Anthony Anderson was a foodie who loved to eat anything and everything. But when he was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes mellitus, he knew things needed to change. Much like most others on this list, he went about losing weight by adhering to a healthy diet and taking up regular exercise. His efforts paid off! Rachel Frederickson emerged the 2014 winner of the reality show, The Biggest Loser, having gone down to 105 pounds from 260 pounds – that’s a 155 pound loss! “When I stood on stage at the live finale, I had never felt stronger. I had accomplished everything I wanted to do. I was extremely proud of myself,” she said.
Following this, she gained a bit of criticism for putting on 20 pounds again but has said she isn’t worried as that was her ideal weight – and we think she deserves credit for maintaining a healthy lifestyle and body.

With a net worth of $50 million, successful rapper Missy Elliot has little to worry about in the way of money and loans. She’s also spoken a lot about her “food chart” that extensively lists all the foods that one would need to eat to help with problems ranging from diabetes and high blood pressure to arthritis. She even showed it off on Instagram! Spears has said that she regularly enjoys a variety of fruits and vegetables that help her lose weight, along with proper exercise, of course. It looks like Spears should get a nutritionist degree with her knowledge.
JASON SEGEL – 35 POUNDS
Jason Segel’s most famous role might have been on the show How I Met Your Mother, but the actor went through a pretty dramatic transformation for another one of his roles. The president of Universal Pictures, Ron Mayer, actually requested that Segel slim down when he was cast in the movie, The Five Year Engagement. The 39-year old then lost 35 pound with the help of a trainer, who helped him follow a strict diet and guided him through 2 workouts daily. Segel could also use online classes in dieting if it is still needed.
MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY – 38 POUNDS
When Matthew McConaughey was cast in the movie Dallas Buyer’s Club, his character was an HIV/AIDS victim. Naturally, such a character would look thin and sickly. While the latter of those could be handled with make up, he needed to also lose quite a bit of weight. Following a regimen of 90% diet and 10% cardio, he managed to lose 38 pounds.
